• Ms Kim

  Kim Sherman is proud to serve families in the Fairfield community as the On-site Owner of The Goddard School of Fairfield. Having called Fairfield home for more than 25 years, Kim is deeply connected to the community and passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and high-quality early childhood education experience for local families. As a parent of three boys, Kim understands firsthand the importance of a strong, consistent curriculum and a caring preschool environment that supports every child’s growth and development. She holds an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Teaching from Seattle University, and has teaching experience in both elementary and preschool education. Owning The Goddard School of Fairfield fulfills Kim’s long-time dream of opening her own childcare and early learning center, where she can help shape the foundation for lifelong learning and success.

• Ms Emma

  Miss Emma proudly serves families in the Fairfield community as the Director at The Goddard School of Fairfield. With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, she has worked as both a classroom teacher and an ECE program administrator, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her leadership role. She is passionate about early childhood development and believes in intentional, individualized teaching—supporting each child’s unique path of learning and growth. Miss Emma earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Norwalk Community College and a Child Studies degree from Charter Oak State College. She also holds her Head Teacher Certification and Director Credentials, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care in our preschool and daycare programs. Outside of school, Miss Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and reading. • Ms Megan

  Miss Megan is proud to be part of The Goddard School of Fairfield, serving families in the Fairfield community with over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of New Haven. Miss Megan is passionate about early childhood development and loves helping young children grow, learn, and discover the world around them. She believes that every child develops at their own individual pace and is dedicated to supporting each child’s unique learning journey in a nurturing and engaging preschool environment. Outside of school, Miss Megan enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and boyfriend. She is honored to partner with families in Fairfield to help every child build confidence and a lifelong love of learning.

  Hello! My name is Angela, and I am thankful for being part of the Goddard team. I’m currently attending school at Post University. I major in human services and spend much of my down time working on my assignments. I worked in childcare for several years now and love seeing children learn and grow. I enjoy spending my time with my 3-year-old son, family, and friends. I look forward to meeting you all and gaining more knowledge and experience at Goddard.

  Hi! My name is Angelina and I am so excited to be part of the Goddard family. I have over 20 years experience, working with children of all ages and those with special needs. I love to spend time with my family in my free time. Some hobbies I enjoy are hiking, swimming, reading and working out.   I am Ms. Christine and I’m so happy to be a teacher here at Goddard. I have been working in the childcare field for about 15 years and I’m still going strong. I have worked with many different age groups but settled into preschool. While many find this age group challenging, I find it very fun and fulfilling. My teaching philosophy is to create an environment where learning happens through play and active engagement. I’m not just their teacher, I’m also their friend. Around the classroom you can find me singing, dancing, and energetically reading. When I put my teacher hat away, you can find me singing, dancing, and reading. I am a Disney fanatic, obsessed with super heroes, and patiently waiting for my Hogwarts letter. I am finishing up a degree in early childhood education and also starting nursing school. I can’t wait to meet your children so we can actively and enthusiastically investigate the world around us and learn crazy cool new things each and everyday.

  Hello! My name is Christine and I am thrilled to be a part of Goddard. I have been working with children for 25 years now. In that time, I have played many roles from teacher to administrator. I found that my passion lies in the classroom with the children. I have had the opportunity of working with children from infancy to high school. As a teacher, I am committed to creating a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all children. Outside of work; I enjoy spending time with my two children, my husband, and our dog Penny. i am also an avid runner and hope to one day run in the NYC Marathon.

  Hello! My name is Greshenmary and I am so excited to be teaching at The Goddard School. I have nearly 20 years of experience working as an Early Childhood Educator. I earned my Early Childhood certification at Housatonic Community College along with my AD in Child Development. I hold my Head Teacher Certification through the State of Connecticut and am currently a member of (NAEYC) & (CTAEYC). I've had the opportunity to work with children of all ages and abilities. I am passionate about working along children and their families, helping them to achieve goals and milestones. Fun fact, I am bilingual, my first language is Spanish as I was born on the island of Puerto Rico. I love spending quality time with my sons and family. I enjoy walking, biking, hiking, and boating.

I have a big golden retriever at home named Kasper and a cat named Kuba. I am currently finishing up my degree in Psychology Early Childhood Development. I have four years teaching experience with children from infant to pre-k. I have always had a passion to help students learn, grow and develop. I strive to make school a fun and exciting learning experience for them.

I graduated from Fairfield Warde Highschool I attended HCC for early childhood development and behavioral sciences for 2 years. I will be continuing my schooling in the early education field. I enjoy thrift & antique shopping, movies, art and a good laugh.

  My name is Liazha and I am very excited to be a part of The Goddard Team! I have been working in Early Childhood Education for over five years. I believe children can achieve anything they put their mind to! Every time a child learns something, they create a new opportunity for growth.   Hello Families! I am so pleased to be a part of The Goddard School of Fairfield. I have a background predominately in Early Childhood Education but also in broadcasting, advertising, and as an Executive Assistant. My teaching background includes five years working as a nanny to twin girls and another family for three years with two sets of identical twins. I have worked in several child care centers working with Infants and Toddlers. I am currently learning how to play acoustic guitar and love performing in community theatre. I have two grown children, daughter Lauren and son, Ryan. “I enjoy teaching your child songs, sign language, reading stories, and watching them change and grow every day. I am happy to have the opportunity to love and nurture your child. They really bring a joy to my heart!”

  Hello! My name is Meg, and I am so excited to join the Goddard family! I have my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wheaton College MA and I'm in the second year of my Master's program in clinical mental health counseling at Southern CT State University! I have experience working with children in crisis intervention, with complex trauma and mood disorders, and I was previously a behavioral therapist for 2–6-year-olds with Autism Spectrum Disorder! In my free time I love to cook, read, and spend time with my cats. I look forward to meeting everyone!

  Hi Friends! My name is Miss Nina and I am so excited to join The Goddard Family. My love for early childhood education began back in high school. I attended Bullard Havens where I began taking courses in early childhood education as my trade. After graduating I went off to Southern CT State University. I took some time off but will continue with my degree this fall. I enjoy spending a lot of time outside either taking hikes or going to the beach. When I am not outside I love watching Disney movies. I also love spending time with my big family. I can’t wait to get to know all of you and spend time in the classroom.

What started off as a simple internship, blossomed into a passion of mine. I am currently working on continuing my education in ECE.   Hello Goddard Families! My name is Tonishia, and I am so excited to be part of your child’s learning journey! I’ve worked in childcare for over 10 years and have experience with all age groups (ranging from infancy to preschool), but the toddler age group holds a special place in my heart. What I love most about about being a toddler teacher is getting to see the world through a child's eyes and watching their faces light up when they reach new milestones. It is a such a joy to be part of those special moments. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, listening to music, and spending quality time with my family.   My name is Holly an I am so excited to start my teaching journey at The Goddard School! I have a background in Health Science with minors in Occupational Therapy and disability studies. I spent six years volunteering with an occupational therapist and working as a camp counselor supporting children of all abilities. Before this, I worked at Disney World where I learned the value of creativity and giving children environments where they feel safe, seen and celebrated. My husband and I moved back to CT to raise our son closer to family. I love reading, swimming and travel. I love teaching because I enjoy helping children explore the world, build confidence and discover their unique strengths.

  Miss Minerva is excited to be part of The Goddard School of Fairfield, serving families in the Fairfield community as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. She believes every child is unique and learns at their own pace, and she’s dedicated to creating a supportive, engaging classroom where children can grow and thrive. Before beginning her career in early childhood education, Miss Minerva spent 16 years in the hospitality industry, developing strong communication and relationship-building skills that she brings to her teaching. She is continuing her education in ECE and is passionate about creativity, arts and crafts, and hands-on learning. Bilingual in Spanish, Miss Minerva loves celebrating special days with her students and bringing fun into the classroom. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her son Lexus, family, friends, and her dog, Lulu.

In my free time, I love spending time with my son and going on new adventures ! My favorite part of life is being able to observe my surroundings. Working at Goddard has given me the opportunity to do this with children. I recently moved to Connecticut from New York and began my studies at College of Mount Saint Vincent. Although I had to take some time off, I plan to return and continue my education.   Hi families! I'm Emma, and I am so excited to be part of the Goddard team. I am a junior at Fairfield Warde High School and have always loved working with children. My love for learning started at a young age as I was eager to help care for my younger siblings. I grew up in Fairfield, just a few streets away from Goddard, and I am so grateful to be allowed to give back to Stratfield Village while doing the things I love. I have always been interested in psychology, especially child development, and how curiosity leads to growth. I firmly believe that every child is unique and deserves an enriching educational environment that fosters their physical, mental, emotional, and social development. My aim is to create such an atmosphere where students can explore their curiosity to reach their full potential.

  Hello! My name is Ms. Hannah and I am so thrilled to be joining the Goddard family here in Fairfield. I currently have an associate degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as 10 years of teaching experience, and a 200hr yoga teacher certification. I am a lifelong learner though and am always looking for ways to grow and learn. I find great joy in seeing the children in our care thrive, learn, and grow. I am passionate about providing a safe, reliable, and fun filled environment for students to pursue their own passions through student led and play based exploration. I grew up on a ranch in New Mexico and pursued my education and early teaching experience in Colorado before moving to Bridgeport in late 2022. Outside of teaching my great loves are my family, music, animals, outdoor recreation in a wide range of areas, and of course yoga.
